This Privacy Policy explains what information prac.cc (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using prac.cc you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, a username, and a password (which we never store in plain text — only a securely hashed version).

As you use the app, we store your learning progress — experience points, streaks, openings practiced, accuracy, and activity history — so your progress is saved across devices.

If you use the Game Review feature, we fetch the public games you request from Chess.com using the username you provide. We do not receive your Chess.com password.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to operate the service: to authenticate you, save and display your progress, send account emails (such as email verification), and keep the app secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated progress at any time from your account settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
