The Halloween Gambit (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.Nxe5!?) is a wild Four Knights sideline where White gives up a whole knight to chase Black’s pieces back with pawns and build a huge center. Objectively unsound, but ferociously tricky and a brilliant way to practice attacking with the initiative.
