Leningrad Variation

The Dutch answers 1.d4 with the aggressive 1…f5, grabbing kingside space and steering the game toward sharp, attacking middlegames. It splits into three big systems — the Leningrad (…g6 fianchetto), the Stonewall (…d5/…e6/…c6), and the Classical (…e6/…Be7) — each with its own pawn structure and plans.
